Courts Mediation Schemes

From October 2011 the National Mediation helpline is replaced. Now the government simply provides a directory of mediation providers working within each area of which this association is but one. You can find the list by clicking on http://www.civilmediation.justice.gov.uk and clicking on the court area that interests you

You can also access a free small claims service for claims less than £5,000 where court based mediators will be able to assist. A full list of these mediators is available at http://www.direct.gov.uk and put into the search button "mediation for small claims". This is a different scheme to the ANM Smaller Claims Scheme which can cover claims up to £50,000 in value at a relatively modest cost for the mediator.
