Linn believes that mediation offers a “safe” opportunity for a facilitated exploration of issues through dialogue, with the aim of seeking opportunities to resolve disputed issues. She often describes her approach as offering the opportunity for a facilitated conversation – a chance to be heard – and to listen!
Her style is facilitative and outcome-focussed. She brings to mediation her coaching style and desire to help people to achieve their potential and improve their relationships, and to resolve conflict. Her own model (“IGI”) helps the parties in conflict to develop wider perceptions of the issues and to seek agreement on the way forward. Resolving conflicts and tensions results in happier – as well as more productive – people and teams!
