Peter graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 1984 with a First Class Honours degree in Quantity Surveying. He became a Chartered Surveyor in 1986 and went on to become Chartered Builder and Engineering Surveyor in later years.
Peter undertook a post graduate diploma in International Arbitration with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and Oxford University. He trained with and became the youngest RICS panel Adjudicator ever appointed in 1998 and qualified as a CEDR mediator in 1999 before going on to study international conflict resolution in Rome and at Harvard University. He is a regular writer of legal articles for the UK construction industry.
Peter is the Managing Director of The Vinden Partnership which he set up in 1994 to advise clients involved in the holding and development of land and property assets. His practice is regarded as being one of the UK’s most successful multi-disciplinary practices. Peter is continuously engaged as an Adjudicator, Arbitrator, Expert or Mediator and is listed on all the major professional panels in the UK and Europe. He has in depth knowledge of commercial disputes and he is described as “bold and fearless” by those parties who instruct him.
